This Water Lily art was inspired by a photograph taken by Nina Heigh Creative! Please check out her art as I am so grateful she allowed me to follow my desires to recreate this as as a beautiful work of art!

I used watercolors, ink, and a white paint marker to get the highlights on the warm white paper. Signed in the lower right corner. 

Water Lily's are a symbol of purity, balance, tranquility, & peace. They also are an indicator of a thriving ecosystem, as they only grow in clean water, and provide shelter for many aquatic animals. Claude Monet captured them beautifully in his water lily series.

This was my first time studying and illustrating the beauty they provide.
